English Toffee

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

2 sticks Quality Checked butter

3 tbsp water

5 Hershey bars

Chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Boil sugar, butter and water until amber in color (approx. 10 minutes) in a heavy pan.

Pour on cookie sheet, lay Hershey bars on top and spread. Add finely chopped nuts on top of chocolate, if desired. Cool and break into pieces.
